Meet Skylar
Hello! My name is Skylar, and I’m the owner of Ivory Events.
Ever since I was a kid, I've been incredibly creative and completely in love with weddings. I spent countless hours reading love stories, dreaming about fairytale weddings, and imagining beautiful celebrations filled with meaningful details. As I got older, that love never faded. When I had the opportunity to stand beside one of my closest friends as a bridesmaid and began planning my own future wedding, I realized just how much I loved the planning process. I loved the creativity, organization, design, and problem-solving that go into bringing a vision to life.
That's when I realized wedding planning wasn't just something I merely enjoyed, it was something I was passionate about.
I founded Ivory Events with one simple goal: to help couples enjoy one of the most exciting seasons of their lives without the stress that often comes with planning. I believe every wedding should feel personal, intentional, and uniquely reflective of the couple at the center of it.
When I'm not planning events, you can usually find me outdoors enjoying a Wisconsin summer. I love paddle boarding, hiking, camping, roller skating, and spending time with my dog. I'm a huge believer in making memories, whether that's exploring a new trail, sitting around a campfire with family and friends, or celebrating life's biggest milestones.
